Fifth Grade Science (11/10)

This week the fifth grade is meeting in the Chemistry Lab.

The students are learning about energy with our energy bike from the Girls in Science project sponsored by AEP. This summer classmates Hava and Ariella attended the workshop with several other CTA upper classmen.

Each students will have an opportunity to generate electricity by pedalling the bike. This energy will be used to power lightbulbs, a fan, and radio.

This energy cycle fits into the curriculum in the area of renewable and nonrenewable fuels. These classes will be a springboard for discussions and other classwork and learning activities.

Thank you for your support,

Lahitraot,

Andrea K. Balas
